About Our Caregivers

Our caregivers are employees of our company and are truly passionate about their work. They enjoy helping others and are the 'heart' of Attentive Home Care. We're proud of them for many reasons:

No Hidden Liabilities or Risks

We do not work with 'independent contractors' or 'freelancers': We are their employer and take responsibility for meeting all legal and financial liabilities, such as payroll taxes, SSI, worker's compensation, insurance, benefits, and retirement plans.

When a caregiver is hired independently

or from a 'referring agency', the client is the legal employer. They are responsible for work related accidents and injuries and must also withhold payroll taxes and provide SSI and Worker's Compensation. The financial risks and liabilities of this can be great. Attentive Home Care complies with all legal requirements so you are protected from unexpected claims and litigation.

Trust-Worthy and Experienced

The close relationship that often develops between a client and their caregiver makes it important that the caregiver has a good history. We conduct a criminal background check, complete with submitting finger prints to the Department of Justice, before hiring.
